2009-07-22 17:40:277/22/2009: Furlough Question: Are the University 12 Paid Holidays not effected by the proposed furlough policy? Or are they? Will the 12 University Holidays still be paid holidays? 2009-07-02 09:48:16I'm a little concerned about how the centralization will take place. If a function area gets centralized, will all the staff who perform those functions get fired? Will some be rehired in new positions? Or will the remaining staff just absorb the functions of those who were let go?
2009-07-02 14:23:29I appreciated how thoughtfully Dean Gilless answered our questions and I was deeply touched to see how much Keith really cared about what happens to staff. Ever since day 1 he has always made me feel supported and valued and the meeting yesterday showed that he has not changed since becoming Dean of CNR. I mostly want Keith to know that we staff are truly grateful to have a Dean of such high caliber making the decisions on who will be staying with CNR and who will be moving on. I believe he will do everything he can before he lets even one staff member go.
